DO YOU HAVE A FENG SHUI MONEY DOOR ENTRANCE?

May 13, 2018 by Master Simona

The Feng Shui discipline is full of strange and complex names, but only a few stand out as much as the highly coveted “Feng Shui Money Door Entrance.” Contrary to popular belief, in Feng Shui not every front door is a Money Door, nor can you turn any door into a Money Door. It is a rare and wonderful occurrence that favors some buildings and not others. Only about 10% of buildings have a natural Money Door—meaning that without even knowing Feng Shui, the architect randomly hits it right when he or she designs it. Of course, if you are designing a building from scratch with a properly trained Feng Shui Master he or she can recommend where a Money Door should be opened intentionally (without leaving it to just “chance”).

Note: For the consumer’s sake, it is important to state that the amount of training necessary to identify a true Money Door is vastly superior to the average Feng Shui training. I have received that advanced training during the fifteen years of study I have done with my Master teacher, but I have noticed that not every Feng Shui consultant I have met understands the application of this concept, although they have heard of the name. Some will even make up their own version of a Money Door, which obviously is not the same thing I am talking about and I’m not sure how accurate it would be. So please do your research if you are planning on using a Feng Shui consultant to create a Money Door for your building to be sure he or she is qualified to recommend a true one.

How does a Feng Shui Money Door work and what are the expected results?  I’ll give you an example:

I was recently consulting for a client who owned a commercial property that she had been leasing to a video rental business for several years. Sadly, the video rental business never did very well and literally struggled to make rent, even in a high market. And when new technology took over, it pushed it right out of business. My client decided to then rent the space to a different business, a French pastry and coffee shop. The new tenant came in and, following their established formula, redesigned the space to better suit their needs.

In the process, they closed the old entrance (on one side of the façade) and opened a new one on the other side. The new business hit the ground running and has been very successful from the first day of opening six months ago.

I just like this picture very much, but in truth a bit more “red” is preferable (when you have a money door)

My client, who had originally requested a consultation with me for her own residence, was puzzled by this improvement and asked me to take a look at the commercial space, hoping to ensure that the good luck would be consistent in the future.  I did and that is how we found out that during the renovation, with the relocation of the main entrance they closed the old door (which caused delays, accidents, and was not good for business overall) and the new door—a Money Door nonetheless—was opened instead. This was done purely by accident, but with great results at this exact location. If it had been the building next to it or the building across the street even it would not have worked out as successfully. It worked out in this case; out of pure luck!

But how many of us have this kind of luck? Given the low availability of Money Doors around, I can tell you not much. In fact, most buildings designed without Feng Shui planning (which is about 90%) end up missing the Money Door, even if the potential for one is there.

If this was your building, house, or office would you want to leave it up to fate? What if you could control your luck by working with a qualified Feng Shui Master instead? Smart entrepreneurs and business executives usually don’t test fate, which is why they are so successful (I worked with a number of them, in fact). And I have noticed in all of my consultations that the most successful enterprises across the board have Money Doors placed correctly either upon entering the building where their corporate offices are or where their retail businesses are.

Call us for a consultation so we can help you find YOUR Money Door—and the money potential of your building so you can take advantage of it!

Or, if you are a designer or a professional consultant interested in being more proficient in Feng Shui and want to find Money Doors for your own clients (whether you are a beginner or a more mature student), join our Certificate Programs in Beginning+ Advanced Feng Shui for Architecture, Interior Design and Landscape (live-webinar, in-person or self-study on demand). I am looking forward to working with you and teaching you how to use many more of these incredible Feng Shui secrets.

FENG SHUI FOR CAREER SUCCESS CLASSES IN SANTA MONICA, CA

May 15, 2017 by Master Simona

feng-shui-for-career-success-class-santa-monica
When we plan Feng Shui for Career Success, we are planning for financial success, but also for much more than that.

What makes the difference between a “career” and just a ”job” is that in a career we invest our passion, our dreams and our plans for the future. It is not just a pay check, is a long term relationship with other people and circumstances that will help us grow as persons as well.

Hence, part of planning your Feng Shui for Career Success involves activating your talents, your leadership, your business charisma, and your cooperation abilities.

For years, I have watched as my students attend professional classes with the desire of helping others by using Feng Shui either as professional consultants, or as designers with Feng Shui proficiency. In the process, they also discovered Feng Shui can be useful for them, to improve their own lives and their own career.

As soon as my last Advanced Feng Shui course was completed last year, half of the students were off moving into new places that they can now pre-selected thanks to what they learn in the Advanced Feng Shui course.

Eventually they all moved into excellent Feng Shui homes. In within few weeks after moving in these new places, they all experienced extraordinary miracles in their lives, lot of them related to their careers.

Here are some of the success stories they shared with me (I am changing the names for privacy purposes):

  • Mary, who works full time for a famous nation-wide corporation got the promotion she has been waiting for the last two year.
  • July, who run her own professional business, experienced an increase of customers while at the same time being offered a full time job in within the same field field by a larger competitor.
  • Maria, was placed in an unpaid “leave of absence” by her company before taking our course and wasn’t sure if she would ever get her job back. She did get her job back, and shortly after she got a rise too.
  • Doan lost his job shortly after relocating across country to take it. After the Feng Shui chages, he was hired back by the same company. An offer which he refused, to accept instead an offer by a different company for his “real” dream job.
  • Jen, an interior designer, was hired by a Los Angeles firm where Feng Shui services are in high demand.
  • Racheal has become a real estate agent and helps investors finding building they can fix and flip effectively while creating good karma for these same buildings (and future owners) thru her Feng Shui expertise.
  • Miko, Belinda and Gabi also interior designers and architects, have expanded their services to specialize in Feng Shui and are now busy around the clock while continuing our Mastery Program to gain professional grade proficiency.

These are only few of the success stories our students have experienced after applying Feng Shui in their own lives.

We invite you to join us for our upcoming in-person classes on Feng Shui for Career Success coming up on May 24 and for our Professional Certification Webinar Course in Advanced Feng Shui and see for yourself what Feng Shui can do for you and for your career.

I am looking forward to having you in our Feng Shui In-Person Classes in Santa Monica, CA!!

Feng Shui Office: A Renovation Gone Wrong

October 14, 2014 by Master Simona

Commercial_Office_Feng_ShuiI was in Diamond Bar, California last week for an emergency call by a new client on a case of bad Office Feng Shui. The previous Feng Shui consultant messed up big during the Feng Shui renovation.

The client is a wholesale technology company that has been in business for 7 years and has always experienced a fast-growing pace. The owners requested my professional opinion because they just expanded their facility (taking over the 2 adjacent office suites in the same building). During the addition, they also took the opportunity to reconfigure the room’s layouts and up-date their colors and furniture arrangements as well.

Since inception their offices had been in the same building that I was now requested to review. The problem surged right after completing the remodeling 2 months prior, when their business suddenly started registering a loss. Their CEO was beside himself because in the 7 years prior this had never happened and he suspected some “faux pas” was done in the course of the renovation. Upon listening to the facts, I also shared his concerns.

While the building was an excellent building for business financial success (which explained the previous continued success of the enterprise), I noticed that key offices and entrances were misplaced, and water and the color red (both money enhancers) had been placed in the wrong areas, thus “draining” from the financial success and increasing the potential for break-ins and robberies.

These seemed common mistakes that beginner students in Feng Shui would make because they haven’t yet familiarized themselves with the advanced theories of time and construction cycles. These mistakes are also normally made by people who have read about Feng Shui in one of those do-it-yourself types of books (and that are often so generic they only work for a limited number of buildings).

So I began inquiring about the original, pre-renovation positions of the offices, their entrances, and the choice of colors used. After some hesitation, the owners “confessed” that I was not the first Feng Shui consultant they had hired. Infact, living close to the Asian community, they consulted with another “consultant” before planning the renovation. (I am not going to reveal his name, but suffice to say he was not one of my students.)

Upon his suggestions, they had painted the very long wall in the South red and added water in the North. Now, from my analysis, the South direction (their warehouse) had potential for office arguments and break-ins (which the owners reported had happened twice since they had completed the remodeling). And in my opinion, in a case like this, you would not add any red colors because, as an enhancer, it would only increase the negative potential. Hence, I had to suggest for them to paint over the wall with a neutral color instead to eliminate the effects of the red (fire element).

Furthermore, the main entrance in the North had a good potential for career achievements (metal energy). However, the use of water fountains was completely inappropriate here, as water tarnishes away and cancels the achievements. So I suggested they remove the water fountains.

At this point the owner asked me where the best position for a financially successful entrance would be. I pointed to the location (a very high “money’ spot) and told him, “This is the best location for the main entrance and your receptionist (who’s also a sales associate).”

Imagine my surprise when his jaw dropped and he lifted his hands over his face and uttered, “That is where the entrance and reception was before, and where they had been for seven years!”

Now, how do you explain to your client who has just completed a $150,000 renovation that he now needs to put everything back? That they had a better Office Feng Shui before? In this case I was lucky because the business had been in this building for a long time and my client had seen the success before seeing the failure that came from the bad renovation. But what if you are moving into a new facility, building a brand new building, or renovating your existing one? How do you know how to do it right?

If you do not know about Feng Shui renovations, any relocation or new construction is simply going to be a game of chance, a hit-or-miss. And sadly, this is not the first time I have seen this happen. When a successful building needs additional space the company either move, or take over an adjacent space, renovate the entire thing and then bam! After then things are never the same again.

This time we can blame it on the poorly-prepared, supposedly “Feng Shui expert person” they had hired, but truthfully I have seen this happen also when no Feng Shui Master had been consulted on a project at all– and no matter how good the architect, designer, and contractor were either. You just do not know what you do not know.

And in today’s economy you don’t want to take the chance of seeing your business sink because you didn’t think about investing in the consultation of a good, professional Feng Shui Master on how to set it up right.

In my client’s case we decided to turn it around as much as their budget allowed them to do at the moment and then later they will tackle the structural part. And because the building has overall good potential it will make it easier (and less expensive) to do some structural work rather than move to a different building (which was also my client’s main concern). So, we’ll put the entrance and the reception area back later, once their budget increases.

For now, some of the management offices were easy to switch around and then we painted them red (here the color is used purposely to increase the financial success) over the gray color they had been painted during the renovation. We also used the rest of the five-elements to correct all the other areas (as needed).

Bad Feng Shui Office for a Good Business

February 7, 2014 by Master Simona

Feng ShuiBusinessLocationHP3

A good Feng Shui Office is the key to Feng Shui for Business success. I never saw a bad Feng Shui office leading to a successful business. Rather the opposite.

I was in Diamond Bar last week for an Asian business owner looking to relocate his national business headquarters to an upscale area.  He really liked the prospected building, especially the fact that other big and famous companies were in the process of just moving in as well, and so he felt good about joining them.  However, he had some concerns about the “space” per se’.

As part of my prep work I was sent a floor plan of this particular space with the client’s specifications on how it was going to be laid out.  As soon as I saw the plan I frowned too.  The space had a large chuck missing, an entire corner actually, which gave the remainder of the space the shape of a triangle.

Those of you who have been my students already know where I am going next just by saying this… but for those of you who haven’t been one of my students, a triangular shaped building is often undesirable because the internal layout will cause the Qi of the space to be very unstable.  It is definitely not (if ever) desirable, especially for a Feng Shui business or a proper Feng Shui Office.

FengShuiBusinessLocationNewsBan2In addition, when such a large portion of a space is missing, particularly if it is a good portion—like in your money area or your career advancement area—then it is really bad news because your business will not be benefiting from those.  And the scary thing is if these sections are not there, as a Feng Shui Master, I cannot boost them up for you.  These sections should be physically present for me to make them work to your advantage and increase your business and financial success.

These kind of buildings—where the money section or the career advancement section are missing—are especially undesirable because ultimately there is nothing that can redeem them.  These are not good Feng Shui offices. And not just for my client, but in this instance, for anyone leasing spaces in that same building.  You will recognize these buildings because they have a lot of turn over.  Since the renters are not doing well, they’ll leave as soon as the lease expires (usually 5 years) and downsize or be forced to move to a less expensive area because they have suffered big losses.

When we first visited the space my client was a bit surprise from my analysis because they really, really liked the space.  But when they realized that ALL the spaces in the entire building were recently occupied by new tenants (because the previous occupants had either gone out of business or downsized) they quickly retraced their steps.

As an alternative, I was asked to do an analysis of their existing space (of which their lease was about to expire) which turned out to be comparatively superior.  Hence, they decided to stay in the existing facility, renegotiate a good deal, and renovate the current building instead of moving.  Now my work is to help them make this existing building more Feng Shui compliant—taking full advantage of their money section and career advancement section—which were only being partially used at the time of my consultation.

I have no doubt their business will increase after the changes, it always does.  I’ll keep you posted on that.
